I just loved Julia. She was incredibly humble, always, from the time we met her when she was banging on the roof for Paul, her husband to get out of the car, till we honored her when she was probably 90. She always, always asked if Mary Sue and I were teaching anymore, and if not, why? She lived life with passion, about food, wine, people.
She was fun, funny, smart, witty and generous in every way. I don’t believe there ever was or ever will be a more talented culinary teacher out there..She was and still is a breath of fresh air to watch. We’re so honored to be a part of this video about her life. Enjoy!!
